Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026

Da Nang will host the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 — an international tournament that will be held in Asia for the first time. The competition will take place from August 30 to September 6, 2026, at the courts of the Tien Son Sports Complex, Tuyen Son Sports Village, and other specialized venues across the city.
According to the latest data from the organizers, the tournament is expected to bring together about 5,000 athletes from 81 countries and territories. Earlier reports mentioned 4,000 participants from 80 countries, but as preparations progressed, the expected scale was revised.
The program is divided into national and individual categories. The national section includes several age and competition groups — Open, Kids, Junior, Senior, and Master. In the individual category, participants are grouped according to age and DUPR rating, which is used to assess players’ skill levels in pickleball.
In addition to the main competition, Da Nang will host the World Entrepreneur Tournament 2026 — a separate tournament for entrepreneurs, investors, company executives, and business founders. It is expected to attract about 1,600 participants, and the competition is scheduled for September 2–4.
The total prize pool of the main Pickleball World Cup will amount to US$500,000. The organizers also intend to use the tournament to promote Da Nang as an international sports and tourism destination.
This will not be the city’s first major international pickleball tournament: in 2025, Da Nang hosted the PPA Tour Asia — MB Vietnam Cup, whose final drew 7,906 spectators and set a Guinness world record for attendance at a pickleball match.
