GBA Oktoberfest 2026 will be held for the first time in three cities of Vietnam simultaneously
In 2026, Vietnam will host the GBA Oktoberfest for the 34th time — one of the largest festivals of German culture in the country. For the first time, the event will take place in three cities at once: Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Hanoi. The festival brings together Bavarian traditions, German cuisine, beer, live music, and an international community.
Ho Chi Minh City will host the festival first — on September 24–26. The new venue is located at 257 Hoàng Văn Thụ, Tân Sơn Hòa. This place has a symbolic connection to Germany: it used to house the residence of the German consulate. The festival will run for three evenings, from 18:00 to 23:00.
At the Ho Chi Minh City venue, guests can expect traditional German cuisine, Bavarian music, a performance by the Austrian band O’zapft, a DJ show, games, and contests. The ticket price includes festival entry, a commemorative beer mug, a German-themed buffet, and unlimited German beer from the official beer partner Paulaner. Tickets for September 24 and 26 start at 1.95 million VND, and for September 25 — from 2.15 million VND.
The next venue will be Da Nang — on October 2. The festival will take place at Furama Resort Danang from 18:00 to 23:00. The program includes traditional German dishes, a Bavarian atmosphere, German beer, a performance by O’zapft, a DJ show, games, and prizes. Ticket prices start at 1.65 million VND at the early-bird rate and from 1.75 million VND at the regular rate.
The series of events will conclude in Hanoi on October 8–10 at JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi. Over the course of three evenings, guests will be able to try German beer and traditional dishes, listen to O’zapft, and take part in contests and other entertainment. Tickets for October 8 and 10 start at 1.9 million VND, while for October 9 — from 2.2 million VND.
GBA Oktoberfest is organized by the German Business Association (GBA) together with AHK Vietnam and is held under the patronage of the German diplomatic missions in Vietnam. According to the organizers, the festival attracts more than 11,000 participants annually, and GBA Oktoberfest itself has existed since 1992.
In addition to food, music, and beer, the festival also serves as a platform for international networking: among the guests are business representatives, members of the professional community, expats, and residents of Vietnam. In 2026, the organizers aim to bring German festive tradition to all three of the country’s largest cities at once.
