6:50 AM — Arrive at Cảng Bãi Vòng port https://maps.app.goo.gl/5Gui3wGdE4Ex4vaf6. Show your ticket to the port staff; they will tell you your ferry and seat. 7:00–7:10 AM — Ferry departure. When you exit the ferry, a driver will be waiting for you who will take you to the border.

1. Exit Vietnam by presenting your passport with a valid visa/stamp and receive an exit stamp (it is unlikely, but they are entitled to ask for the e-visa under which you are staying in Vietnam; be prepared to find it on your phone and show it if you are currently in Vietnam on an e-visa).

2. Walk approximately 500 meters through the neutral zone.

3. Enter Cambodia: fill out the arrival card and pay $35 or 1,200,000 VND for the Cambodian visa.

4. After passing Cambodian border control, immediately return back — exit Cambodia and pass through the neutral zone.

5. Present your passport. When returning to the Vietnamese side, border officers may demand a bribe (25,000–250,000 VND); if you do not pay, you may be forced to wait at the border for a long time. Re-enter Vietnam.

6. Make sure to check the entry stamp in your passport and verify the expiration date (it is handwritten below the stamp); if the border officer makes a mistake, point it out immediately on the spot.

7. After returning to the Vietnamese side, message us — we will send transport for you and a ticket for the return ferry (as soon as you get into the car). Don't linger at the border to catch the early ferry back (timing: 10:15 am; 11:45 am). To ensure the fastest possible route, no lunch stop is scheduled; you may bring a light snack with you.
